AXISCADES & Aldoria Signs the provision of an Optical Station Contract to Expand Space Surveillance Capabilities in India

Bengaluru, India & Paris, France, 18th February 2026 – As India accelerates its push into space, from larger satellites to increasingly ambitious long-term programs, the ability to monitor and manage space data from the ground is becoming a real strategic advantage. French space tech company Aldoria and Indian engineering firm AXISCADES Technologies Limited (BSE: 532395 | NSE: AXISCADES) announce the signing of a the provision of an Optical Station contract that sets in motion the deployment of Space Situational Awareness (SSA) capabilities in India: the deployment is planned in 2026, followed by a phased scale-up toward more than a dozen stations by 2031.

The contract covers two core building blocks: optical stations based on a standard-components architecture, and the associated software required to operate and scale a distributed network. This step-by-step approach is designed to establish an initial operational capability, then expand it progressively as needs grow, with implementation details managed under appropriate confidentiality.

The contract is structured around a phased rollout: a first station for the pilot phase will be deployed with initial support, including maintenance and critical spare parts over a defined period. The contract also envisages that all systems beyond the pilot phase will be delivered from AXISCADES’ newly commissioned DAL (Devanahalli Atmanirbhar Complex) facility located at the Bangalore Aerospace Park, near Kempegowda International Airport.

A gradual training of skills and knowledge transfer will then take place, enabling AXISCADES autonomy on the SSA capabilities – an approach expected to contribute to the creation of highly skilled jobs in India.
